Dr. Saalim Al-Azhari

Dr. Saalim graduated from St.George's Medical School,
University of London in 2007 before completing his Arabic
studies in Egypt where he obtained a diploma in Arabic
rhetoric (Balagha) from the Egyptian ministry of education
and was the top ranking student. He then joined the
prestigious Al-Azhar University and graduated from the
Thaanawiyah with a rank of excellence and was awarded for
his academic achievement before joining the faculty of
Shariah where he graduated in 2016 with honours and the
highest rank in his year. Dr. Saalim has Ijaazah in multiple
sciences inclusive of Hadith, Fiqh, Aqeedah, Seerah, Hadith
classification and Arabic language. A number of these are in
classical texts including Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. He
has been a longstanding khateeb at various mosques including
the biggest mosque in the UK, is an advisor to the Muslim
Cultural and Welfare Association of Sutton and regularly

Joram Van Klaveren

Joram Jaron van Klaveren is a former Dutch politician. As
a member of the Party for Freedom he was an MP from 17 June
2010 until 21 March 2014. He subsequently was an independent
until his term in office ended on 23 March 2017. He focused
on matters of desegregation, employment-to-population ratio,
egalitarianism, and emancipation. Before he went to
parliament, he was a City Councilor (March 2006 – July 2009)
and worked as a Social Affairs and Education Policy officer.
From 24 March 2011 until 11 June 2014 he also was a member
of the States-Provincial of Flevoland. He became well-known
for anti-Muslim comments. In October 2018 he converted to
Islam halfway through writing an anti-Islam book. After
becoming a Muslim, he decided to rededicate his book to his
search for religiosity and the subsequent conversion to
Islam.
Abdul Wahid Pedersen

Pedersen was the Vice Chairman of Muslim Council of Denmark,
which is the largest body of Muslim organizations in
Denmark. He is co-founder and principal of three private
schools for children of Muslim parents in Denmark. He is
also co-founder and long-time vice chairman of Islamic
Christian Study Center in Copenhagen. He spearheaded relief
projects in numerous countries worldwide. E.g. the
establishing of a school in the Kunar province of
Afghanistan before the Taliban regime which accepted girls

Dr Musharraf came to Britain from Pakistan in 1966 with
his parents to the Yorkshire town of Halifax, where he

completing a degree in Biochemistry at Aston University, he
went on to gain a Science doctorate. He worked as a
Scientist until 1990 and then decided to dedicate himself to
serving the Muslim community. He read Islamic studies at a
seminary in Pakistan under the guidance of Justice Pir
Muhammad Karam Shah and then at Al-Azhar University,
Egypt.In 2005, Dr Musharraf was awarded an Honorary
Doctorate by Staffordshire University, for his services to

Prime Minister to chair the UK – Indonesian Islamic advisory
group. In 2009, he was awarded an OBE for his services to
community relations in Britain.
Yousaf Jahangir

He was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina in a very conservative Christian home. In his early teens he became heavily involved in the church near his home and in Young Life, a non-denominational youth oriented organization.
He intended to enroll in Bob Jones University, a world-renowned Bible College in his hometown upon graduating high school, but in the summer of 1996 his life changed. Upon studying the bible from cover to cover and realizing many things were askew, and a lot of what he believed his entire life was not in line with what his research found, he left Christianity and went in search of the truth. After many twists and turns, ups and downs and after looking at the many world religions searching for the tangible proof of the right way of life he encountered a Muslim and was given a Qur’an.
